Court of Referees Court of Referees at the Russian Gas Society
The principles of referees isolation and independence underlie activities of the Court of Referees at the Russian Gas Society.
The guarantee of their impartiality in proceedings on specific disputes and rendition of a fair, legal and reasoned decision is the fact that the referees do not act for any of the parties or states.
Court of Referees’ decisions are equipollent to arbitration court’s decisions.
In order to render procedural assistance to the referees of the Court of Referees at RGS, a Research Advisory Board consisting of authoritative experts on Russian and international law and Federal arbitrators of the arbitration courts of the Russian Federation was established that enables the Court of Referees to get opinions on complicated legal and economic issues promptly.
